Virgin Atlantic Holders Season

This year’s Virgin Atlantic Holders Season will celebrate twenty years of performances in Barbados. Shows will be held at Holders House in St. James between March 9th and 23rd. These performances are always a treat for us here on the island, and tickets are usually sold out quickly. Past performances have included Shakespeare plays and Opera and this season, there is a great selection of comedy, gospel, theatre and singing. If you want tickets just visit this website to book!

A Tribute to Hollywood

Saturday March 9th

The opening night show is a tribute to Hollywood music of the 50’s and 60’s. The show is headlined by Peter Grant and joined by Rebecca Poole and the famous Ronnie Scott’s Allstars from London. In addition, Barbados’ Rosemary Phillips will perform.

Gospel Charity Night

Tuesday March 12th

In aid of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the London Community of Gospel Choir will pay tribute to the best of Gospel.  This will be the first time in the twenty year history of the Holders Season that Gospel music will be featured.

Basil Faulty Dining Experience

Thursday March 14th

Any fan of the TV series Faulty Towers will not want to miss this night! There are only 120 tickets available and the food is sure to be amazing. The dinner and show will take place at the Holders House Gallery.

“The Speech” – Directed by Toby Cough

Saturday March 16th

Live theatre of some of the greatest speeches ever made. This show is directed by one of Holders favourite people: Toby Gough.

African Night

Monday March 18th

Back by popular demand, Cameroonian genius Muntu Valdo with everything that is best in the music of West Africa Entsha, as well as a quartet of singers from Soweto in South Africa.

Comedy Night

Wednesday March 20th

The biggest name in improvisational comedy in the UK, Paul Merton, will have you in stitches so come prepared to join in the laughs and fun.

Gala Night

Saturday March 23rd

String Fever is the funniest and most versatile string group you will ever hear. They will be joined by ‘The people’s tenor Russell Watson.
