December is right around the corner, and these are a few events happening over the Christmas period here in Barbados. We think you will enjoy ALL!

Pro & Junior Pro Surfing Championship 2012

Barbados surfingThis is the biggest surfing event of the year, where attendees can enjoy the sun, surf, and sand, as well as live music, local food and the opportunity to meet all the big name local surfers.

Date: December 1st and 2nd

The Hennessy Artistry Show 2012

Hennessy Artistry

This reggae party is very well attended by locals and should not be missed! Featured artists include Junior Gong, Sizzla, Third world, Queen Ifrica, Nexcyx, Buggy Nhakente and others.

Run Barbados: Midnight Mile Run

Run under the stars at this Run Barbados event. “Come for the Run! Stay for the Fun!” No where else in the world can you finish a race and dive right into the therapeutic waters of the Caribbean Sea!

The Snow Ball Party

A Christmas fete to start the yuletide festivities with a bang & for a good cause! Bring a wrapped gift pre-assigned for a boy or girl ages 4 to 18 years old, then indulge in a premium bar, with Champagne & shots on sale, and dance the night away.

Harrison’s Cave Eco-Adventure

This new tour offered by Harrisons Cave allows visitors to walk the nature trails around The Cave, and explore as they crawl along the natural passages.

Barbados Turf Club Race Day

Make it a day of fun for the whole family when you visit the Garrison on race day. December offers one very special race: The Victor Chandler Stakes & Trophy. Visitors can watch this race from the stands or the grounds.

Jolly Roger Shipwrecked Dock lime

Jolly Roger Party

For four hours guests can “lime” on the dock by the Jolly Roger Ship, and listen to great old time music, calypso, reggae, and soca, while soaking up the local scenery.

Panerai Transat Classique Regatta

Sailing in Barbados

More than forty yachts will set off from Portugal on December 2nd and race across the Atlantic until they reach Barbados. Boats will arrive in Carlisle Bay around mid month. This is an exciting event and one not to be missed.

St. Nicholas Abbey presents: Carols at the Abbey

St. Nicholas Abbey

St. Nicholas Abbey is putting together an amazing Christmas event at the Abbey that should not be missed. Save this date for a lovely, festive evening of carols by candlelight, with the Barbados Police Band performing.

The Royal Barbados Police Force Band

The Royal Barbados Police Band

A number of free concerts will be played by our famous Police Band between December 8th and 30th. Our local Police Band has performed in Scotland, Disney World, and Radio City. Bring the kids and make an evening of it.
