Flying Fish Island

The Barbados government and a team of developers have just announced plans for a Barbados version of Dubai’s man-made Palm Island!

The island is scheduled to be constructed off the coast of Speightstown and sources tell me that it will be designed to resemble the shape of a flying fish.

A team of expert Belgian and Dutch dredging and marine contractors, some of the world’s specialists in land reclamation, are due to start the project in a few months.

There’s little doubt, that once completed, “Flying Fish Island”, will be a huge boost to tourism and the Barbados real estate market alike.
