Barbados' SAGICOR helps save homeless dogs in Tampa

by Maxwell

The global recession reaches deep into people’s pockets, so much so that some people can not afford to keep their own pets due to their homes being foreclosed!

In Tampa, Florida, one kind soul, Keith Wandell of BUDDIES Rescue in Myakka City, has been giving a home to dogs that no longer had a home. Unfortunately, such is the gravity of the recession we are currently in, Keith could no longer afford to look after the quantity of dogs left for his care. This was leading to many dogs having to be put down.

Luckily, Sagicor’s Tampa office came to the rescue with a donation of US$5,500 received today.

This is just one example of how a deflating property market can have a chain reaction, and that we all need to help each other in times of crisis.

If you know of someone in need because their property in Barbados is at risk, feel free to use this blog to reach out!
