Barbados's architecture travels to the USA

Interesting to note the influence of Barbadian architecture on homes in the US:

Early West Indies settlers made their way centuries ago to Charleston and had a telling influence on the region’s architecture. The home styles intrigued contractor Kevin Kalman and his wife on a trip to Barbados. Kalman returned to build a few homes in the Barbados tradition, such as 25 Lafar St. in Daniel Island Park seven years ago.
