If you are planning a holiday party and want a festive drink to blow the socks off your guests, try my Sorrel Martini recipe. You can drink this Caribbean cocktail anywhere, and at any time of day. Enjoy it at brunch, in the evenings, and even at the beach.

Sorrel Martinis are so simple to make. You can mix up the ingredients beforehand, then just shake when ready!.

Sorrel Martini recipe: Ingredients & method

  • 2 oz  vodka (the better the Vodka, the better the Martini)
  • 1/2 oz of sorrel syrup (in supermarkets or made like simple syrup)
  • A squeeze of lime juice (approximately 1 teaspoon)
  • White sugar or crystallized ginger to rim the glass
  • Garnish with a lime twist

Pour vodka, sorrel syrup and a squeeze of lime into shaker. Shake well with lots of ice, then strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Pour mixture into rimmed cocktail glass and DRINK!

Make your Christmas brighter and MUCH more jolly with this Caribbean cocktail, and remember … this Martini is shaken not stirred 🙂
